The Outback - Alice Springs, Kings Canyon, Uluru

I was fortunate in winning five night's accommodation in Alice Springs, Kings Canyon and Uluru!  I had never been to the Red Centre so it was a fantastic opportunity to see a place I had always wanted to see.  My friend and cousin joined me on the trip and we rented a car travelling the long distances from place to place.  What most people don't realise is that the distances between all three places are quite vast.  For example, it takes over four hours to drive from Alice Springs to Kings Canyon and then another four hours from Kings Canyon to Uluru!  The Olgas and Uluru were the highlights of the trip as were the beautiful sunsets that only the Outback can bring were also breath taking!  Definitely, The Red Centre is well worth seeing and it definitely lived up to expectations.  Go visit Central Australia and you won't be disappointed!

Exploring Darwin and Kakadu National Park

My itchy feet started again so it was time to ponder and seek out my options for travelling.  I wanted to go somewhere I had never been before and only for a short period of time since I had work commitments.  Luckily, my twin sister also wanted to go for a short trip as well so we decided on Darwin and Kakadu!  What an awesome time we had.  Darwin really surprised me as I imagined a pretty rough outback city but it was actually really nice, had an artificial lake (you can't swim at the beaches because of the crocodiles!), a wave pool and the very cool Crocosaurus Cove where you get to see loads of different crocs including the famous one in Crocodile Dundee!  Kakadu National Park was an amazing experience with the waterfalls, hiking and Aboriginal art.  Definitely, worth a visit!

Surfing in Byron Bay!

Byron Bay is a place that people seem to rave about and mentioned as one of their favourite places in Australia.  It didn't disappoint!  I tried surfing for the first time which was amazing, saw the sunrise at the lighthouse which is the most easternly point of Australia, went to Nimbin (a unique place which is not for everyone!) and partied away at a club in Byron Bay! Go visit Byron Bay if you want a place to go relax, chill and surf!

Touring Victoria

Why not join a day tour and visit the Great Ocean Road, Phillip Island to see the penguins, the Yarra Valley winery region, the Puffing Billy train, Wilson's Promontory, and much much more. I used to work at the Melbourne Visitor Centre booking tours so ask me for further details!
